As a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy, Monica M. Guirguis is legally recognized as a healthcare provider with a defined clinical scope of practice under both Georgia and Tennessee state law. The following services fall within that authorized scope and are provided by Full Body Pharmacy Inc. where applicable:
Medication Therapy Management (MTM): As defined under Tennessee Code §63-10-204, medication therapy management is a distinct pharmacist-provided service designed to optimize therapeutic outcomes for individual patients. Full Body Pharmacy Inc. provides MTM services including comprehensive medication reviews, identification of drug-related problems, assessment of medication appropriateness, and personalized recommendations to support your overall health goals.
Prospective Drug Use Review: Under Tennessee pharmacy law, a pharmacist is authorized to review and evaluate medications to identify and resolve actual or potential drug-related problems — including therapeutic duplication, drug-drug interactions, incorrect dosing, drug-disease contraindications, and over or under-utilization of medications.
Collaborative Care Communication: Where necessary and in a client's best interest, Full Body Pharmacy Inc. may communicate relevant clinical information to authorized prescribers or healthcare providers, for example, to report an adverse or unexpected response to drug therapy or to support comprehensive medication management. Any such communication is made only with appropriate client authorization and in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
Patient Education and Counseling: Pharmacists are authorized and required under Georgia and Tennessee law to counsel patients on matters that enhance or optimize drug therapy, including how medications work, potential interactions, timing, side effects, and how medications relate to overall health and wellness.
Pharmaceutical Care Planning: Under Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Rule 1140-03-.01(4), pharmacists are authorized to develop collaborative relationships with licensed practitioners and to provide professional acts, decisions, and services necessary to support a patient's comprehensive pharmacy-related care, wellness, and quality of life outcomes.
All services provided by Full Body Pharmacy Inc. are rendered within the authorized scope of practice of a licensed Doctor of Pharmacy under applicable Georgia and Tennessee state law. Nothing in this section shall be construed as expanding beyond that authorized scope, and Full Body Pharmacy Inc. does not independently diagnose or prescribe outside of the permissions granted by applicable state pharmacy law.
